Grades:
Daily Grades = 40% of total grade
Test/Project Grades = 60% of total grade
There will be 12 daily grades and 3 tests/projects per nine-week period.
Parents are encouraged to use the Parent Portal, on the district website, to keep track of student’s grades.
Late Work Policy:
When absent from class: Students have one day per day missed to make up missed work. After the allotted days the following grading scale will be used.
1 day late = 90 max
2 days late = 80 max
3 days late = 70 max
4 days late or more= 50 max
Tardy Policy:
A student is tardy if they are not in the class when the bell rings. Repeated instances of tardiness will result in more severe disciplinary action, in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct.
Class Expectations:
Be on time. Be in your seat before the tardy bell rings.
Be prepared. Bring all supplies and work needed to class on time.
Be respectful of yourself and others. I will respect all students and expect the same in return.
Work Hard. Give 100% Effort at all times.
