My name is Angelica Sepulveda-Monroy. My parents were both born in Mexico. My mother is Spanish-Italian and my father is Spanish-Mexican. I was born in Denver, Colorado. Spanish was the first language I learned. I did not learn to speak English until we moved to Houston and I was in first grade. I have three amazing children! I also have a tiny Chihuahua named Pixie. (Who is probably my favorite child of all!)
I graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown with a Bachelors of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Minor in Spanish. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 5th grade Bilingual. This is my fourth year as a Huffman teacher. This is my first year as a Spanish 1 teacher. Huffman has been my home since 2009.
Some of my obsessions are: all things pink, Dr. Pepper, Starbucks, Paper Mate pens, oldies, muscle cars and plants.
